Care Plus WATER Filter, 3L

Dehydration is very dangerous. It leads to an increase in body temperature, a decrease in performance and reduced blood circulation. It can also have a negative impact on your brain. Avoid dehydration and don't wait until you are thirsty to drink. Take regular drinking breaks and, if necessary, add CarePlus® O.R.S. to restore your fluid balance. Are you heading into the wilderness? Then there is a good chance that you do not have access to clean drinking water. The water may be contaminated with microorganisms, bacteria and viruses. Not the kind of water you want to drink. Filter the contaminated water with the Care Plus® Water Filter EVO and the water disinfectant Hadex, from Care Plus®.

The Care Plus® Water Filter EVO uses two filter elements:
- Hollow microfiber filter: this filter element is the part that actually filters the impure water by means of the microfiber tubes inside.
- Replaceable carbon filter: this filter reduces the presence of chemicals and improves the taste of the water.

Microfiber tubes filter and capture harmful bacteria and protozoa. It filters water from any freshwater lake, river or stream. The water filter technology uses a cluster of microfiber tubes. It is based on the technology used in medical dialysis.

The water passes through the side walls of the tubes to their hollow center and flows out at the end of the tubes. Harmful bacteria and protozoa are retained on the outer walls of the tubes.

Maintenance:
It is recommended to always clean all parts, as dirt and pathogens such as viruses can accumulate and reduce water flow. We recommend the Care Plus® Hadex disinfectant to disinfect water and then use it to clean the parts.

If the Care Plus® Water Filter EVO is not used for a longer period of time, or if the flow rate or taste quality has decreased, it is recommended to backwash. Backwashing is more effective if it is done before the filter has dried.
