With up to 13 hours of protection from a single application, Buschmann DEET 40 % stands out as the longest lasting, non-greasy insect repellent. It feels good and has a pleasant smell. Suitable both for tropical destinations (malaria, dengue and yellow fever) and for European areas. DEET is the abbreviation for N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide (or N, N-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide). Works against stinging insects, but also against ticks. The product must be applied to uncovered skin. We recommend that risk groups such as pregnant women, nursing mothers and children under the age of 13 not use DEET.
